Slowly getting out of the dumpster in Standard. Pretty confident that Spiteful Priest is good now, especially in higher legend as people are jumping all over the Control Priest train. It's great vs tempo mage as well, if you get to freeze mana wyrm/sorcerers apprentice turn 2 after cleric to make them ping instead of trading. It buys you another extra turn vs aggro to get ready for duskbreaker p. ex.

Stall for better trades...your late game out stats most opponents...so freezing something so your opponent can’t push damage or make efficient trades is important
