My first instinct is that it’s too slow and contingent on drawing other stuff. (Remember when Menagerie Warden was going to break the game?)
I imagine it in miracle rogue that runs deadly poison and cycles through their deck quickly...at worst it’s a 1 mana hero power with amazing upside

That's fair. It certainly requires a slower and/or Miracle-type approach. (Elven Minstrel will be good in these decks, too.) I'm just not convinced that this fancy trick that takes time to set up will be better than other such tricks.
