I’ll be interested how it turns out, particularly against Jade Druid and mage, because those are the matchups where it’s Barnes or bust.

Against Rogue...Shadow essence becomes insane...likely to draw taunt or Y'Shaarj to pull taunt. No stressing about Barnes pull from either

Maybe you run a Forbidden Shaping in its place at that point to just get some more early game.

That was something @FreshcaXD did in his big priest...but he was using Barnes as well.

Yeah, the idea of that is just to have something proactive to do before turn 6 if you don’t draw Barnes, which would be a certainty now.
