You don’t understand depression unless you actually experience(ed) it. It’s more than being “really sad”. Fuck...you often feel hopeless like there’s no escape. It’s not surprising too that you find these people with a super high level of empathy...
...and often that empathy is not reciprocated. Then that individual feels isolated/alone. Bottom line is, reach out to those you love...and love them. Be understanding, listen, and empower. And please, PLEASE, seek help if you need it. Love you all.
