...minions on 3. Buy two more minions on 4, then upgrade tavern and buy a minion on 5. Does this follow what most of you guys do? I feel that happens 90% of my games (2/2)

Couple of battlegrounds questions: 1) does anyone have clarity in the MMR gains? Are we forever stuck to earning 30-40 pts for first? Anyone here if this will change? 2) general strategy question...I typically buy a token minion on 1, upgrade tier on 2, sell token and buy 2 (1/2)

I’ve been paying attention to how my opponents do who follow this model. They usually make top 4 and at the very least aren’t eliminated early. I’m concerned that options for strategy are mitigated by this factor. If you know this model you can do well if not it’s a hard loss.

Early game damage matters more than people acknowledge. I haven’t quite figured it out yet but there seems to be a specific matchmaking algorithm that favors the players in higher spots on the match “leaderboard”. It could be in my head though.
