A little mental trick I’ve talked about on the old @TopDeckKings podcast before, is to ladder match with Wild and Standard. Basically as you go up one rank...for instance, from rank 5 to 4 in standard...then you must hit rank 4 in Wild before you can climb again in Standard 1/2pic.twitter.com/dbdk8qA3FD
it ends up being more grinding, but you will never dip below your overall highest rank. So right now, I just hit rank 3 in Wild. Now “I’m allowed” to climb Standard until I hit rank 2. Then I’ll be back to bring Wild up to rank 2 before I can touch Standard again 2/2
that was my method for like a year, and did legend on both formats. somehow the fact that the visible rank on the friendlist doesnt descend make affordable the tilt
