Hello YouTube, it’s not a good research practice when you: • Didn’t ask for participants’ consent • Didn’t formally debrief participants after experiments What ethics council gave you your research approval?
That's why I was skeptical about the Facebook thing. Facebook isn't stealing your information, it's using the information YOU put on THEIR website, which you agreed for them to use. I think Facebook is a bad company, but people should have realized that before making an account.

But that's what everyone did before the past 20 years. It's certainly far more convenient having Google, no doubt, but it's not necessary, and (unless your job relates to it or something) no one is forcing you to use it.
