see it now. Just reading.
It's not an exploit. The coin was mined according to consensus rules in effect. When it was realized unSAFE was subject to old bugs, mining was stopped, JL777 went into their discord to explain how to fix it.

So would you be happy with others doing the same thing with Komodo if a similar bug was found? Would you be happy with millions of KMD being mined by SafeCoin? You can spin this many ways, but this did more harm to the cryptocurrency community than good.

P.S. I've looked at your screenshots and realised that these were public channels and the only KMD dev is JL777 in them. I've DM'd you my email if you want to discuss further - Ben.

He's one of the developers discussed at https://www.crypto-coinz.net/the-dark-side-of-crypto-komodo-kmd-attacks-safe-coin-safe/ … by
@bhteam as discussing the hack. -
Even the article doesn't say that. It says he's an 'ambassador' not a dev. As we said JL777 is the only KMD dev in that public channel. Is it possible the article is bias? Asking you to consider the possibility.
-
The article says J777 is a KMD developer and Pondsea is an ambassador. As for it being biased. Well, the article does not come across that way. I can't see whether it is or isn't, though I know that whenever I do videos people say I'm biased one way or another. You can't win.
