There is no set timescale for this. As we've always said, we release when we feel the release is ready. We're as excited as everybody else :)

Third party add-on development is a matter for the developers in question. We see healthy updates to add-ons in our official repository. If you're referring to the piracy add-on "scene" then the more of those that disappear, the better as far as we're concerned.
