#KnoxRobbinsArt The opera mission has descended into total anarchy, Valerie just so happened to be there for the show while Agent Green tries to hold things together. Suddenly in the middle of it all, something just *CLICKS* between Val and Green.

#KnoxRobbinsArt Nothing like a seasonal Christmas surprise when your roommate from another realm sneaks into your Holiday trip back home to yours. This was my Holiday piece for the year, with Jesse and Tikka-Din. Have a happy Christmawanzannukah.

In addition to being horribly unfair to the cast and crew, this also underscores the importance of physical media. WESTWORLD is available on blu-ray, but this will happen to shows that aren’t. The cancellation of a series is sad enough - but the erasure of a series is horrifying.

'The removal of shows from HBO Max means WB Discovery is able to save money in residuals paid to cast and crews of productions, on top of the money saved by not continuing with the shows at all.” Literally how middle class actors survive. #bloodbath variety.com/2022/tv/news/w

As VFX become increasingly essential to every film production, the expectations become more unrealistic, the exploitation becomes even more evident, and it's about time VFX artists unionize. If we can't learn to make good films w/o exploitation, we need to build another system.

Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio acknowledges that, yes, past versions existed, but pushes on with its own meaningful take on life, death and the blitzkrieg that I'm sure someone went "why didn't we do that before?" Something framing Pinocchio's creation as horror is doing right.

Strange World doesn’t push boundaries and that’s most of the problem. For all that it tries in character and world design, the sense of wonder or stakes it goes for isn’t there. The studio shouldn’t have abandoned promoting it, but it’s not more than fine.

For everyone using that AI that turns your selfies into anime; learn your lesson and stop messing with AI shit PLEASE. Not only does it steal art but you just gave them commercial rights to your literal face you submit.

Please share far and wide that there are no monoclonal antibody treatments available. SARS-2 has mutated to the point that our monoclonals no longer work. Our goal should be to not get COVID and avoid reinfections. Wear an N95 as SARS-2, FLU, and RSV are surging.

I mean, why take more money playing it cinemas? You only spent... *checks notes* $469 million on bidding for two sequels. Glass Onion's terrific. But one film alone isn't going to drive subs. But they are trying to steal oxygen away from cinemas.

They added touches of Donkey Kong Junior to the design, considering Cranky is supposed to be the original Kong. It looks great! (Oh yeah that trailer. Cautiously optimistic now. Chris Pratt still sleepy.)

This isn't the Poltergeist meat vacuum or the Jumanji fly trap but this is neat to bring up too. Pagemaster was one of Hanna-Barbera's attempted projects to turn their ambitions and perception around, while at the same time as greenlighting things like Yo Yogi. All failed.

Glass Onion doesn't have the same slowburn shock as Knives Out but still an extremely fun mystery seeing the characters and dynamics play off. It gets gleefully cathartic towards the end, especially if you know what's going on with Rian's satire this time.

COVID isn’t over. There’s no herd immunity bc COVID infection destroys T cells instead of them building up. Each infection causes more damage to brain, heart, & blood vessels and increases risk of long COVID or heart attack/stroke after “recovery.” But masks do work. Wear em!

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish had a month-early preview today. Could’ve been just another sequel but Dreamworks didn’t sleepwalk this one. A lot of fun artistic choices and throughlines, most of the action pops and bangs in limited frame range. Solid sequel.
