Tyrell Pierce is headed to Rochester, NY for the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He enters the meet ranked #2 in the 400m and #11 in the 200m.

Your second Prairie Fire Performer of the Week is Taylynn Kizer of Softball. Taylynn was named Second Team All-Conference. Taylynn led the team with a .400 batting average, .660 slugging percentage and 1.060 OPS for the season.

Your first Prairie Fire Performer of the Week is Tyrell Pierce of Track and Field. Tyrell was once again named MWC Outstanding Track Performer after his performance at the Outdoor Championships. Tyrell won the 200m (21.49) and won the 400m (47.56). His 200m time is a Knox record.
