I've been having the worst time trying to communicate with YouTube support. My email thread with them is now 30 emails long and my account is currently demonetized. All I wanted to do was change the country of my Adsense account

People move countries all the time, I feel like this shouldn't be that much of an issue... But then again I'm sure the tax situation can be complicated. Are still in Australia?

The issue was that they kept sending me a form to change country that wasn't supported in my region. I think support must be based in the US because I always have to wait 12+ hours for a reply which makes everything more frustrating. Yep i'm in Aus but my account was set up in NZ
