The presser was about to end before a reporter shouted out a question of whether if she hates the president. Stopped in her tracks, Pelosi turn to the reporter, pointed to him and returned to the podium. "As a Catholic, I resent your use of the word 'hate,'" she said.

Adding she doesn't hate anybody, Pelosi continued: "I pray for the president all the time, so don't mess with me when it comes to words like that." She leaves again, this time, without interruption.

And the Republican senators preparing to vote against impeachment need to think about that message because they'll be hearing it a lot in the trial. They need to think on it not out of patriotism, because god forbid, but out of self-preservation.
