I'm genuinely bewildered how I didn't notice this while making InMemorial. like... how? I went to this folder to retrieve the footage of the game

I kinda just... do whatever feels right, so while I'm sure I have plenty of inspirations, none of them to me clearly manifest in my work. I don't tend to aim to replicate aspects of another's work in my own, rather reflecting on my output independently to improve. Or so it seems.

I think ThorHighheels is the closest I come to a second inspiration, for the vibes and style he has. It's really good stuff! But, I don't really incorporate that into my own work.

This is an interesting question for me. I've made music, short stories, analytical videos, non-analytical videos, and I'm starting to draw now. I only actually have one conscious inspiration for any of those: some artist who isn't very good but inspired me enough to draw anyway.

For all you creatives out there, whether you draw, make 3D renders, create videos or anything in-between, who are some of your biggest inspirations and why? I’m super curious to hear! Some of mine include: - Raycevick - YMS - Jon Graham - PersonaParadise (1 of I dunno)

Yo! I'm on a new site now. Dunno if I'll really upkeep my twitter but, this site seems neat and promising and I think I'll probably end up using it more than this. So ye cohost.org/Kirobsi
Oh, really? "Not normal?" and what gives YOU permission to decide what is or isn't normal? I hate this idea that there's a "normal" like no bitch!! there's natural variance in EVERYONE so WHY do you think there's this 'proper' way to be? when will people learn this isn't okay...

I wanted to have my next video done in time for this one's anniversary, but due to a hurricane and internet troubles the past 5 days, it didn't pan out. I'm not sure when it might be out but hopefully within a week.

Here's the intro I made for my scrapped Banana Mania video. Just a silly La-Mulana thing, the opening of SMB2 reminded me of it.

I may well have done something completely unnecessary in 6-1 and if people use my video as a guide, they could be making the P-rank actively harder for themselves. This wasn't remotely a consideration I'd had while making this. Maybe something to consider if it gets updated.

It already has over 800 views. I had a hunch it'd do 'well' but, I kinda thought I'd be wrong? Now I'm wondering if its main 'application' is as a guide to help people P-rank stages on their own. I hope not, e.g. 6-1 didn't even have enough testing for the kills rank...

Workin' on something c: All those edits are very subtle but rewarding. I'm really happy with them. That some may not even notice them is exactly the reason why. Should be done within the next few days!

I really wish artists would be seen as people more. In every respect. Understand that their tastes or priorities may change, and that can be reflected in their art. It's okay to feel sad that an artist stops aligning with your tastes, but that needs to be accepted, not lambasted.

This is especially awful when it's done directly. Telling the person or people themselves that their new stuff is trash compared to the old. It sends the message that they shouldn't make art anymore because the majority of fans hate what they're interested in doing or expressing.

Of course, there's a difference if the artist is open to criticism and you feel that they're faltering on a technical level. Giving that criticism is still good. But it's different when you just disagree with the direction they're going, and insist on being vocal about it.

I hate it when people speak of someone 'falling off' (not in the meme way). Talking about an artist who's still alive as though they're some relic of the past, or how they just suck nowadays and their new stuff isn't worthwhile. If your interest wanes, just let that be.

ULTRAKILL is very fun & good. This is probably the highlight of my time with it thus far because it's very funny, but all of it has been thoroughly enjoyable. Good stuff! (potential spoilers for the update that came out like two days ago, hence the 'sensitive content')
