Looking for stories where a cancer patient had their cancer sequenced and this produced some kind of actionable insight. Found one story so far, but I know there's more. https://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/08/health/in-gene-sequencing-treatment-for-leukemia-glimpses-of-the-future.html … #cancergenomics #oncogenomics

Most people won’t benefit from tumor sequencing, and if they do benefit, it is very rarely in the curative sense. We know that; we knew that going into to PMI/All Of Us. Just take a look at the numbers from the non randomized NCI MATCH trial/. They aren’t good!

Imagine what the numbers would have been if MATCH were randomized. What’s worse is that the taxpayers spent $30M on MATCH. https://www.biocentury.com/bc-extra/clinical-news/2018-05-16/nci-match-arms-fall-short-asco-abstracts …

Thanks for this. Quote small numbers of patients generally. I don't expect a miracle, only that one can get lucky if sequencing reveals mutation with known drug available.
