But yes, Bob’s transgressions are obviously worse than people who have molested kids or are ardent racists, both of whom you have defended: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Emil_Kirkegaard …

Never defended child abusers. I think you owe me an apology here.

Why would it be bad for your former students to edit a book about you? At least as far as understanding intelligence goes, none of Sternberg's work is essential though.
-
It's not necessarily bad but in his case suspicious. However seems that he didn't have anything to do with it. (see tweet replies by the other guy)

Yes, they are both his former students. I just verified it.

This is the same guy who retraction watch coveted for gathering OK Cupid data without permission — widely considered unethically. Do you want an ardent eugenicist on your side? There brilliant people on both sides, but google him a bit to see if you want to follow his lead.

I know exactly who Emil is. I don't agree with everything that my Twitter followers say or do because that's how false consensus and confirmation bias happen. He is aware that I disagree with him, but that doesn't stop us from productive conversions.

I disagree with the idea of excluding anyone from scholarly discourse. Isolating people is a recipe for creating bubbles and allowing incorrect ideas to flourish. In a worst case scenario, it leads to conspiracy theories, oppression, and martyrdom status for fringe elements.
-
I should have rephrased. Anyone can engage in discourse. I believe in free speech. But there are also people who I do not believe are worth listening to. I, personally, have decided to not work with people with certain views I find immoral. This is only my choice, not my advice.

Collection of eg dating site data is hardly unethical and indeed commonplace in data science courses. Lots of people did okcupid before me to no furor. Just search github.

To clarify, this was done as a surprise for him. I also did a tribute book for my Dad, Alan S Kaufman. Festschrifts are fun to do. Are you planning one for your coauthor Richard Lynn, who has long feuded with Bob? I’m sure your vitriol at your your friend’s enemy is coincidence.
-
Interesting your link with neo-nazis as in website above — is Bob being Jewish and therefore one of your hated minorities pure chance? I’ve respected and genuinely listened to everyone else in this debate. But I’m just not a big fan of eugenicists who pick on minorities

I’ll leave it up to others to decide who’s lower on the ethics list. I want to emphasize I am not proclaiming innocence, but odd that he with the most sin is gathering mountains of rocks.
