More motivations. The paper is a review of some alternative models proposed by the authors, but which are basically ignored by everybody else. They proceed to ignore a lot of evidence showing CTD to work fine such as evidence from misclassified twins or advanced sib studies.pic.twitter.com/h5ZhBGmU18

IIRC, the models that they say have been unfairly ignored involve measures of family environment that are simply assumed to be causal and not genetically confounded. It's no wonder that such models have been ignored because they forfeit the main virtues of behavior genetic models
