The research facility of Barzah, destroyed by Western strikes last night on the ground that it's used to make chemical weapons, was inspected several times by the OPCW. The last time was on 22 November 2017 and no evidence of unlawful activity was found.pic.twitter.com/NUmuqFn4Fw

This paragraph is taken from this report: https://www.opcw.org/fileadmin/OPCW/EC/88/en/ec88dg01_e_.pdf …. The EC-87/DG.15 note referred to here is nowhere to be found on the OPCW's website (https://www.opcw.org/documents-reports/executive-council/documents-from-the-eighty-seventh-session-of-the-executive-council/ …), but I'm not surprised since in my experience it's often a pain to locate documents on it.

Obviously, this doesn't *prove* anything, but it's clearly relevant to assessing the merits of the claims made by the US, France and the UK, yet I have never seen this be even mentioned in the press.

I don't even think it's because journalists are dishonest, although most of them are, it's mostly because they are clueless and couldn't do their job even if their life depended on it.

As chomsky pointed out, the media has a weird fetish for war, against their general leftist behavior.

They just like when something is happening and war is the most "happeningly" thing there is. But the most fundamental problems are their stupidity and the pressure to toe the line.

In Denmark, the summer vacation time where nothing happens (=parliament is closed) is called agurketid. Means cucumber time, think it's some reference to how watching these grow was the most exciting thing to report.
