Do persuasion techniques count as social psychology? I think foot in the door and door in the face techniques replicate fairly well and have moderate effects on verbal compliance (though not always on behavior). r=.126 is d = 0.25. Add some publication bias, and this will shrink to perhaps d = 0.20. Is there any other replicable effect of at least d = 0.50?
