Not really. Every plotting function cuts off ranges because it makes no sense to have a lot of white space in a figure.

C'mon, 4 IQ points either way? That's no more than test-retest reliability.

Within country regional variation is usually around 10 points (within ethnic group). Also true in Denmark (100 communes, military test data). My point is that it is silly to complain about plots because the range is by default automatically chosen to minimize wasted whitespace.
