Herrnstein (1973) tells a similar story (actually, multiple stories) about being harassed by the same SDS group after his 1971 Atlantic article.

Someone should compile all these to some easily accessible place. Jensen's version is in the preface to his 1973 book if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, I see. I haven't read Jensen's 1973 book. I assumed you meant Herrnstein's because his ordeal is also described in the opening of that book.

Jensen's comments on what Hirsch said about the HER article remind me Hirsch was obsessed people had gotten a citation to Wilson or Trivers incorrect in exactly the same way.This meant that they must not have actually read them(!)--so in his mind that refuted what they wrote (!).
