Well, what do you expect from SNP heritabilities like 5% or less? (table 1, pg19) Even the latent variable only reaches 15%... From that perspective, validation PGSes of 1% are darn good.
GWAS of risk tolerance etc. sounds fancy until you read the cross-validated effect sizes.
