This is very suggestive -- seems consistent with my impression that the e.g. greater mean cranial capacity of far-northern tribes is being preferentially directed toward spatial and navigation skills that are not as heavily valued by current-economy-focused IQ tests.

Almost no one bothers to measure spatial ability anymore so we don't really know what it correlates with. (why don't they? Well, who has an advantage on spatial ability?)
