With the rise of ebooks, it becomes increasingly useless. I have thousands of books, including those by Hitler, Marx, Mao, Breivik, Unabomber, 'Jesus', 'Moses', and Mohammed. Still don't subscribe to any of their ideologies or religions.

Exactly. In fact I probably own more books that I disagree with the philosophy of than agree. "Know you enemy" is still excellent advice
