I'm familiar with these arguments, which environmentalists have been using for decades, but it doesn't affect my claim because I didn't say this result deprived them of *any* reason to hope, only the one Turkheimer's result was giving them.

I've always had the impression that, whether he was right or wrong, Jensen was intellectually honest and I find the way in which he was treated quite shameful.
