      After further tweaking, I've ordered the parts for https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nwQnZ8  . (Hurray for Bitcoin!) ECC RAM had to be dropped - not only is it extortionately expensive, the decent ones are now out of stock! Also improved motherboard, PSU, & HDD. Newegg part limits are silly tho.

      So I bought the 2nd 1080ti separately without any problem, but when I added the rest of the RAM to my cart, it somehow jumped $150/32gb. So... going to postpone that to when RAM places are less extortionate. -_-

      JFC building gaming PCs is 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 these days! Docs assume you know everything eg Corsair CPU cooling manual doesn't even mention the (SATA) power cable. If I'd known how hard this would be & how much Bitcoin would go up, I would've hired a custom PC builder or something. @_@

          The problem is that because Threadripper is exclusive to Alienware and they just don't stock the config I need, it's either pay $7k+ for an Intel Xeon 12+ core build from Thinkmate etc, or go custom. Big wedge.
