Yes. You can see the raw data about which books covered group differences at http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/ICPSR/studies/36957 … Some didn't discuss it at all. When they did discuss specific groups, it was usually the American Black-White diff.

Many are obsessed with that one. Causes issues because they miss the big picture: there's group diffs everywhere around the planet, but with mostly consistent patterns.

I don't pretend to read the textbook authors' minds, but one reason may be because there is more evidence about that diff than any other.
