@phl43 official reminder for you to add some French data. We are missing both France and Switzerland, but we have Belgium.https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X9g7Eh-EerrkjtabHazNu-a-niVC4t5dObok_aNUP0g/edit#gid=2060900662 …
Nice. I did the standardization on the 2002 data. The 2012 first round data seems to be slightly off. Sums to 101.5. Only for journos.

Yeah it's because there were 3 candidates for whom the poll only said "< 0.5%" and I had put them at 0.5 without thinking about this issue. I put them at 0 now, which should deal with this problem.

Actually this causes the ratios to be infinite, so filling in the low numbers is better.
-
Okay I'll set them to 0.25 then.
-
Have a look at the calculations sheet, scroll down to the bottom to my adjustment for 2002 data. Correct as desired.

Okay I had apparently inverted the score for journalist and the population in the case of one party, which is why it didn't sum to 100 for the election actual results. I corrected it in the calculation sheet.
