Not a big scraper; google does not have API and they try to make scraping as hard as possible. And not everybody has RG account ofc.
Google sucks, we need Open Scholar. :) RG does include content they scraped though when authors are not on their service.

But imperfect coverage + automation vs. better coverage + manual labor is a trade-off many are familiar with. Laziness usually wins.
