OK... so he said nothing of the sort. Whether what he presented is good science is a different question. I'm not convinced.

Unless I overlooked something he never mentioned Cville or anyone involved. And yes. He's "theory" is speculative ...

Big history is always very speculative, hence why I don't like it so much. Compare to Jared Diamond's theory or big econ's institution model
