What does the term "asian" cover? Are we talking japanese, chinese or does it include people from Pakistan etc?

Yeah think it covers literally all of them: Indian, Thai, Chinese Japanese the lot. A very heterogeneous group tbf

US racial/SIRE classification leaves much to be desired, that's for certain. The only clean one is non-Hispanic White, ~99% European.
