Embrace their errors and constantly revise positions like good Bayesians would instead of digging in and always doubling down
Think you should convince them to make public, quantified, definite predictions first, so they can see that they are wrong.

I agree. I'd also love to see betting markets on certain topics so I could see divergence between bets and publicly held views
