Just noticed: 1) >20 network papers '17 investigated model stability (e.g. bootstrapping, split-half). 2) 0 factor papers I know did so.

Factor models more stable in same N bc fewer parameters of course; still good to see stability has become cornerstone of network modeling.

I routinely do this, developed some quick & dirty methods. See discussion in https://openpsych.net/paper/47 (section 6). But it is rare to see.

Don't know any papers by others who did this, and I never used the method on mental illness data.
