I don't find A completely convincing, given that she can choose to not have an abortion, and put on the pressure. But it may be more complex
Always try simpler explanations first: women in general less in favor of personal freedom policies, abortion just an instance of that.

Lets say there is a (youngish) man and a woman, and one of them dies. I feel worse about the woman dying. I wonder how women feel.
