Nope - they are weakly correlated but not the same. Can think of Intellect more as enjoying intellectual activities, e.g., puzzles

Maybe we can find a large dataset. Can one estimate O from Project TALENT data (n=400k)? What about MMPI in VES (n=4600)?

Trouble is that self-report bias may increase or decrease relationship to intel, and hard to predict which way.
