Do you think it is useful to think of research findings or effects to be "true" or "false"?
If you mean dichotomous thinking → all kinds of problems (NHST etc.), then Gelman writes about it at length.

The dichotomy isn't even the main issue, although it certainly is problematic, imo. I'm more troubled by it ignoring knowledge & evidence.

Our believes can be true - the world just is. So we should to think about to what extent we can know something is or isn't. Model knowledge.
