Small sample. No Jensen method for comparison. Low number of tests. Who knows how many other models they tried. SEM is v flexible.

270 people and 11 tests is reasonable for SEM. g is the same regardless of the model, so I don't see how diff models matter.

Use R and play around with SEM stuff. You will see how unreliable it is. I was more positive before I learned more aboutt it.
