@ArtirKel Can you find me socio. data and race/ethnicity for Argentinean departments? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Departments_of_Argentina …
One can fairly easily find province-level socio and cognitive data too, but I was wondering if one could go a step further.

If one can show that SIRE is a decent proxy for admixture, then one could get SIRE and socio. data for the department-level too.
-
So you're also fine with self-reported too?
-
SIRE = self-identified race/ethnicity, so yes. If we can show it is a decent proxy.

Here, look: someone compiled genomic admixture studies for us. :) http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?208747-Argentine-Genetic-tests …

In Latinobarómetro they used to have a SIRE question, but only at national level.

Yes. I'm not having any luck either. Not even on Spanish Wikipedia. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demograf%C3%ADa_de_Argentina …

Not even the Neo-Nazis/White Supremacy people have data... http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/White_people_in_Argentina …

When I get back from London I'll do some more 'búsqueda'

One can definitely get some S data by lower order units. Here's parts of the capital. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provincia_de_Buenos_Aires#Econom.C3.ADa …

The fact that the Argentinian official statistics site crashes when I try to do anything doesn't help, heh.

Try some other browsers. Often helps.
