How large a volume of material do we need if we want to build a 3cm thick Dyson sphere at the mean distance between E and V from the sun?

Basically. So no Dyson sphere for us :( But maybe a Dyson ring or swarm could be feasible
We need to find some dwarf stars and build around them. Much smaller and less hot, so one can be closer, so less material needed.

At least fusion is making progress,though not NIF&ITER.I expect commercial fusion by around 2030 or being optimistic, 2025
