The only issue I have with @@KirkegaardEmil study is that he did not anonymize the dataset. https://artir.wordpress.com/2016/05/13/in-defense-of-emil-kirkegaard/ …
also only their public answers. One can answer privately but most don't.

We can agree that this is a non issue being bloated out of proportion.

@KirkegaardEmil Not public.Only public to other@OKCupid users.@hashfyre#anonymity#ethicsfail#peerreview#okcupid#dataset#datascrape -
Nope, you can use a standard scrapper to gather it, if you can Google your profile, it's public.
-
Some profiles are public, others are not (not sure what the system is). Google has a larger dataset of OKCupid than I have. ;)
-
Probably paid/free version difference. Thing is if the data is scrappable you are not erring on

@hashfyre Wrong. Tickbox in@OKCupid settings. Choosing 'public' for profile does not give access to question user answers@KirkegaardEmil -
As i said "If data is scrappable", if it's not then he is erring.

.
@hashfyre Answers to questions not able to be viewed (or scraped) unless logged in to@OKCupid, so clear violation of#TnC@KirkegaardEmil
