@GodDamnRoads I have no particular opinion aside from that they use different reference panels and that small %'s are unreliable.

@ArtirKel Well, I used to be Ashkenazi until DNA land downgraded me! :p -

@KirkegaardEmil@ArtirKel haha someone should coin a word for that.... -
@KirkegaardEmil@ArtirKel looks like they no longer report precise estimates of Neanderthal ancestry -

@KirkegaardEmil@ArtirKel hmm really? maybe they have different front ends for non-US users or something (more likely given FDA issues) - 1 more reply

@gwern Don't understand the question. :( -
@KirkegaardEmil I mean, what fraction of their SNP calls agree for you?

@GodDamnRoads@KirkegaardEmil pretty much two different issues imo. how they setup their reference panels/analyze the data and precision -
@GodDamnRoads@KirkegaardEmil e.g., my guess wrt IT estimate is the pop in central/southern Germany (some of my ancestors) & N. IT overlap -
@GodDamnRoads@KirkegaardEmil i.e., it's somewhat arbitrary how they assign populations to particular places, how many they use, etc -
@GodDamnRoads@KirkegaardEmil definitely a signal there but I wouldn't take them *that* literally
