@JonathanLWai Doesn't it just reflect variation in European background? Southern/Eastern Europeans have darker hair and lower IQs.

@JonathanLWai The author does not seem to know that these color traits are often sex-linked, so can differ by gender. E.g. eye color. -
@KirkegaardEmil you should write to the author and discuss -
@JonathanLWai Perhaps. :) Interesting result anyway. I didn't know NLSY had eye color. That's neat. May be useful for other stuff.

@KirkegaardEmil@JonathanLWai Eastern Europeans do not have darker hair, why do you think they do -
@gchrupala@JonathanLWai Not sure how legit this is, but Nordics generally have the lightest colors. http://orig15.deviantart.net/c2f1/f/2014/252/f/4/blonde_hair_map_by_schrodinger_excidium-d7yjja3.png … -
@KirkegaardEmil@gchrupala@JonathanLWai wonder where they got the data to produce a map at this level of granularity -
@RCAFDM@gchrupala@JonathanLWai It's inferred.
