@JelteWicherts Looks a like confound with publication bias. What is the semi-partial correlation (year x effect size, sample size).

@KirkegaardEmil except for certain substantive declines I would think that the decline effect is there because of publication bias -
@JelteWicherts One thing I forgot to ask. What about controlling for body size? Correlations should be larger with that controlled.
