This guy is a joke. What kind of science journalist writes about science he hasn't read? 
It's obvious from these writings this guy only reads one side of debate. He references MQ and Unz, but apparently didn't read anything otherwise he would stop repeating Lewontin fallacy.
One of the big issues is that journalists don't understand science. They either use it to talk about some potential change or some controversial area. They don't get that there can just be differences and that they are well understood.
