Do you really have a Patreon page? Why no links to it? I guess it doesn't matter.

I don't use it because I except them to shut me down if I used it. https://www.subscribestar.com/emilowk https://www.patreon.com/emilowk

Ah, okay. You just made a banner and didn't update it in forever then. Getting shut down may come down the line. But then you can move the people to a new location. Though I understand why you wouldn't want to use the site. They shut people and projects down way too much.

Tbh not terribly interested in PR work. :P But seems I might have found someone to push/manage me on this issue.

Maybe the invisible hand would want to lift you up if you let it.

It's pseudoscience once it's about certain socially valued traits.
-
Premises would seem to be: 1. No genetic gaps in any socially valuable traits. 2. Research X found or suggests such gaps might exist. 3. All research that finds or suggests a false conclusion is pseudoscience. 4. Thus, research X is pseudoscience. P3 is false though.

Definitely physical attributes to adapt to higher latitudes but the idea of higher IQ to adapt to cold climates as some have suggested is pseudoscience.

@TheAdaptedMind latitudinal gradients influence other psychobehavioral traits (in addition to physiological ones), so why would intelligence be an exception? See e.g. https://doi.org/10.1177/1745691619858067 … https://doi.org/10.1016/j.copsyc.2019.06.018 … -

I assume Emil doesn’t hold that position. I don’t know why intelligence was chosen over other traits, but I’m nearly certain it evolved to best human competitors, find mates, and navigate a social world in relatively large tribes. This “climate IQ theory” is so devoid of sense.

(find mates = complex courtship due to long child rearing cycle)

don't need genes that protect against malaria once north of malaria latitudes.
-
I guess unless you bring in migrants with malaria...
