"S J Gould style guy" I like it.

Too generous of me. Gould at least was a scientist who did some genuinely good work. You are more akin to the pure activist type Barry Mehler. Pearson incidentally has good coverage of Mehler's sad life. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Mehler …

The best thing Barry Mehler appears to have done is in relation to the Committee to Free Russell Smith. Otherwise, he appears to have dedicated his career to preventing research into the causes of group inequality. https://www.academickids.com/encyclopedia/index.php/Russell_Smith_%28prisoner_activist%29 …

I agree with the data but the theory that there’s a “group evolutionary strategy” is preposterous and not evolutionarily sound. The authors are not trained evolutionary psychologists.

Group selection is no longer banned from discourse
-
It was never banned but since 1976 has been fringe and unsupported by the evidence. It’s an unorthodox evolutionary theory whose contemporary proponents copied Hamilton’s 1964 math and said it was “group selection.”

Since 1975, many more taxa have been found to be social, and today multi-level selection where group and kin selection are part of one phenomenon in taxa is a better and richer model. That has little bearing on whether 'the jewish question' is useless & dangerous field of 'study'
