We could remove that cost by simply banning marriage closer than 3rd cousins. Maybe the next Parliament will consider it.

Impossible unless Pakistan also does. We can't void marriages overseas. Even child marriages are respected.

We can refuse to acknowledge them. Everyone who wants to be considered married in the UK should have to have had it registered in the UK.
