Actually, I intended to say that the vast majority of those who think they are repelled are only repelled by what they THINK Wax' views are. Alas, got a notification and was sidetracked though the gist was the same.

To me --and I've been reading her stuff for well over a decade, she's simply saying that mass immigration from developing countries poses hurdles we are apparently not prepared to handle well. All the SHOULDS in the world cannot undo the IS.
