Why do you spend so much time reading about this? Seems like a puritan obsession type behavior. Like debating whether someone is truly saintly/devout or not.

I think it would be better, usually, to address the arguments and likely consequences of policies. Is X racist is no longer edifying because, as Wax noted, the word has lost almost all meaning. But, Saint Augustine really was saintly. End of debate.

What beliefs? Cultural distance immigration being sensible or her beliefs about poor performance of African Americans in law studies or...? Never know which belief previously normal is now beyond the pale and gets one labelled as Supporter of Evil.
