A massive 5 year, multi-school, $500M effort to improve teaching by measuring teaching effectiveness, helping teachers improve, and taking effectiveness into account in HR decisions resulted in... no improvements at all for students. Can I get $500 million to help people with better parenting and mental health skills?

Really? How many half billion dollar grants have been given to teach people mental health or how to rectify attachment issues?

Given that parenting, with the exception of severe neglect and abuse, have about zero impact on children's IQ and personality I would be very surprised if there would be an effect on "attachment issues". Is there any evidence of a parental effect on attachment outside genetics?

How are we operationalizing 'attachment issues'? Be precise. But yes, effects will be modest--stronger if we use good standard measures of attachment constructs, but still modest.

One of the 3 types of commonly (though debated as a dimensional construct) discussed attachment styles: insecure ambivalent/preoccupied, insecure avoidant/dismissive, insecure disorganized. All, I believe, correlate with educational attainment, mental illness, drug use.

Name the measure. It's a social-personality measure you are discussing. Is it the ECR-R? You may not be aware of the long-standing differences in attachment scholarship and research between developmentalists and social-personality folks. Many implications for measurement.

Bruh...your Google scholar page has me mad jealous...instant regret of going the PsyD route. I look forward to reading your work (which has been cited in other papers I've read). Hell I probably cited you in my dissertation.
